Our Story

Established in 1954, our company is now in the third generation, with its base in the original headquarters in Piazza Armando Diaz, just a stone’s throw away from the Milan Duomo. Our story begins when, recently arrived in Italy in search of a better life, our founder purchases a double-digit-carat stone of exceptional beauty and rarity and goes door to door to retailers seeking to sell it. One such retailer enquires what the asking price is and requests 24 hours to show the stone to a customer. When our founder returned, the retailer handed over an entire suitcase of money...mistaking the asking price for the whole stone for a per carat price. Such was the perfection of the gem our founder had sourced, that the retailer could not believe its price would be as attractive as it was.
